Logan Bins
Explainers can be dry content at the best of times, especially when the topic is, quite literally, garbage. It is always my goal to take the information and script it in such a way that an audience can easily absorb and even be entertained by it. So when Logan Council came to Ravel with a request to put a quirky spin on their newest bins campaign, I leapt at the chance! Through a combination of wacky dialogue, flexible rigs and expert voice acting, these unique characters sprang to life to spread the good word of trash!
General Waste
Each of the characters were created with an individual gimmick. Here you’ll see General Waste, a no-nonsense drill sergeant with a passion for waste disposal. He was the first character created and set the tone for the entire campaign.
Granny Compost
Although this beloved compost bin character was the last to join the campaign, she was by far my favourite to write. Affectionately nicknamed ‘Granny Compost’ during production, she was written with an appealing elderly sass. This golden girl has no qualms telling you everything you’re doing wrong with your organic waste!
